Making a first appointment:
1. Request a new client phone consultation on my client portal.
I’ll confirm or deny it – most often, if you were able to request an appointment, it will be confirmed!
2. Check your email for a questionnaire to complete!
When your consultation call is confirmed, I’ll send you a link to a questionnaire that you’ll fill out before our call.
Complete the questionnaire by the day before your consultation, or it will be canceled!
Completing the questionnaire helps me have a basic understanding of what you’re looking for in therapy, and often can help me have an idea of whether I’m a “good fit” for working with issues you’re having.
If your questionnaire isn’t complete by the day before our call, it will be canceled. But, it can be rescheduled after you’ve been able to complete the questionnaire.
3. The day of your consultation, I’ll call you!
We’ll chat for about 10 minutes. This helps both of us get an idea of if we’ll work well together. You’ll have a chance to ask any questions about me and how I work.
If you want to move forward, we’ll schedule what’s called an “intake” or first therapy appointment.
